n-Revolution Magazine UK
Six simple sporting events that will provide some fun for the summer. [Issue#24, p.76]
64
Games Master UK
Extremely basic and only six sports, but no other compilation has this selection of events. [Sept 2008, p.79]
60
Da Gameboyz
With average graphics, upbeat music, and motion sensitive control that can be somewhat fun, this game is really what you make it.

VideoGamer
As it is Big Beach Sports will provide some fairly limited, short term fun, but when available for less than £20 maybe that's not such a bad thing.

NGamer UK
Don't expect anything taxing but there's just enough content to make this a worthwhile multiplayer title for the younger gamer. [Aug 2008, p.62]

GameDaily
There simply isn't enough to do, outside of competing with friends (up to four at once) and playing through tournaments for unacceptable rewards.

When Big Beach Sports first arrived I smelled mediocrity a mile off - the worst trait for a reviewer.

The production values and overall presentation certainly fit this cut-rate title, and you'll soon get bored if you're playing alone.

A cheap shoddy cash in.

DarkZero
Given that the game only allows the use of the Wii-mote, playing a good old game of football seems a hard concept to imitate. Needless to say, this sport is ridiculously unsatisfying.

Worth Playing
The truth is that Big Beach Sports manages to do a couple of things passably while doing absolutely nothing right. While the title boasts a solid lineup of events that really ought to be fun to play, there is simply no fun to be had with this game.

IGN
A true cash-in project that ignores some of the great control fundamentals laid down with Nintendo's game for an unintelligent waggle-and-win design.

As satisfying as a sand-ridden shoe, without the fortunate side effect of having gotten some fresh air. Take a ball to the local seaside shingle instead.

Jimbo S. gave it an8:
Great game to play with friends or fam. Similar to wii sports. It would be a perfect game for me if could have used mii's.

R Lindon gave it a7:
Definitely not the most in depth game, but for the price it is one of the best bang for your buck party games out. Soccer is lacking, and cricket is surprisingly fun.

Fire gave it a0:
This game is not good at all. I sold my Wii because of this.

DjFIL gave it a7:
Good effort... way better then Deca Sports... not as addictive as Wii Tennis or Bowling though. But Cricket, Bocce & Volleyball are extremely well done... (American) Football only being 2-v-2 is boring, Disc Golf is too easy (birdie or better every hole on first try), and (Soccer) Football is the worst of the bunch. Single player is thin, but fun as multiplayer games.

The A.A gave it an8:
This is really fun game. Frisbee golf is boring, i cannot understand anything about American Football, but other sports are pretty fun. Beach Volley is extremely enjoyable, jus as bocca. Cricket and Football (Soccer) are not the best, but still interesting. If you would have to by this game for the full wii game price i would not recdommend, but since it costs much less than that, i recommend this for everyone who has a party coming up!

Fryfat gave it a1:
This game is not good. I played it and was bored. I really need to get a PS3.

the Jen gave it a10:
SOOOO much fun if you're either 10 years old...or drunk...or you have the mentality of a 10 year old! Seriously a REALLY fun game! I love the monkey!
